Project Overview

The integration between Timely and Shopify serves as a vital link between a customer's Timely account and their Shopify store. When the Covid-19 lockdown disrupted business operations for many of Timely's customers, they pivoted to generating revenue through online product sales.

Shopify emerged as a preferred platform for selling these products. However, the transition brought about the challenge of manually managing and updating stock levels on both Timely and Shopify. To streamline this process and ensure accuracy, the initiative was launched to establish an automated connection between Timely and Shopify. This integration was aimed at synchronizing product quantities and sales seamlessly.

While another potential solution was contemplating the development of a proprietary platform similar to Shopify, Timely chose the expedient approach of building this integration to promptly provide enhanced value to its customers.
